Description

“You know the basics—but turning a landscape into a finished watercolor still feels challenging?”

This class is for those who already have some watercolor experience and love painting landscapes.

Each class is demonstration-based. You’ll receive a reference photo, and the instructor will guide you step by step—from initial sketch and value study to a finished piece. You’ll first observe the process, then paint along with guidance. Questions are welcome at any time. By the end of the class, you’ll have a clear, repeatable process for creating watercolor landscapes and the confidence to bring your own spring scenes to life.

Instructor’s name:

Zi Li (Lily) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges watercolor, ceramics, and visual storytelling. As a previous Chinese international student, Lily’s visual language is shaped by both Eastern and Western influences. With over six years of dedicated practice, Lily’s art has been recognized internationally, receiving the Daniel Smith Artist Award from the Northwest Watercolor Society and selection for the Southern Watercolor Society’s international exhibition. Her artworks are also shown on Instagram @keepbabyfatlilyforever19, and https://www.etsy.com/shop/AtelierPandaandOtter on Etsy.
