Explore the art of fused glass in this two-hour
introductory workshop designed for makers of all experience levels.
Participants will learn foundational glass-cutting techniques before
composing an original ladybug plant stake — a study in color, form, and
texture rendered in richly layered red and black glass, finished with
hand-formed wire antennae. Each piece is individually kiln-fired, with
completed work available for pickup within the week.
Safety
glasses are required for the cutting process; participants are welcome
to bring their own, or a pair will be provided. Closed-toe shoes are
required for all attendees. All materials are included.
