This one-day workshop gives participants a crash course in
introductory screenprinting and monoprinting techniques! Through a
combination of the two processes, Mono-Screenprinting produces one-off
spontaneous prints, ideal for exploring a more painterly approach to
traditional printmaking. Participants will create images by painting
directly onto the mesh of a screen with screenprinting ink and then
pulling through with a squeegee. We will also explore the same technique
using aquarelles, further experimenting with the playful potential of
this printing method. Each participant can expect to leave with several
custom prints. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and
creativity!
