Join local artist Elise Braggs for an engaging exploration of
Collagraphy. Using a variety of found and discarded materials,
collagraph is a combination of collage and printmaking! Participants
will be introduced to beginner friendly techniques using an x-acto knife
and paperboard along with an understanding of how the method can be
used in their personal practice outside of a studio space. Each person
will walk away with a small edition of their own unique
prints.
This class is perfect for those interested in at home print processes
or anyone looking to pick up a sustainable hobby. All materials are
provided—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Instructor Name
Elise Braggs is a multidisciplinary artist and printmaker
based in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She holds a BFA in Studio Art and Art
History from Oklahoma State University and works primarily in jewelry
and printmaking, with a special passion for lithography. Elise’s recent
work utilizes woven paper and textiles to explore ephemeral childhood
memories, feminine lineage, and the storytelling abilities of domestic
craft techniques. Her practice blends thoughtful concept with tactile
process, inviting viewers into a dialogue between memory and material.
