Join us in in this introductory metalsmithing series and take a
deep dive into creating your own jewelry. In the first two sessions, you
will get a thorough introduction to the Prairie metals studio and tools
while creating a simple sterling silver ring. During this process you
will learn how to create a bezel, saw, texture, solder, form a ring
shank and set a stone. In the following two sessions, you will have the
opportunity to fabricate a ring or pendant of your own design. The last
two weeks will include open studio access to experiment and continue
working on your final project. After completing this course, you will be
eligible to enroll in open studio to continue creating!
