Turn your scraps into sacred beauty. In this joyful mixed media
class, you’ll learn how to cut, layer, and collage handmade florals
using painted and patterned papers. We’ll create vibrant flower cards
that celebrate color, play, and imperfection. You’ll explore both
structured cutting (using simple templates) and freestyle cutting to
discover your own creative rhythm. No prior art experience is
needed—just a willingness to play.
Instructor Bio:
Patricia McDonald (ˈSāKrədJoi Art) is a mixed media
artist, storyteller, and teacher who believes creativity is both joy and
prayer. Known as “The Joy Priestess,” Patricia creates handmade cards,
art prints, and soulful paper collages that blend color, play, and
spiritual grounding. She teaches monthly classes at Prairie Arts Center
and leads workshops and retreats that help people connect with art as a
healing practice
