March Painting with Gouache

Join us for a 3-hour gouache class during which you will
create a beautiful painting on watercolor paper. Our instructor will
guide you step by step and teach you different techniques with the
medium, starting with using light layers, building them up, and adding
detailed lines and textures to bring your artwork to life. In this
class, you will use a type of gouache called “Jelly Gouache” which is a
wonderful, beginner-friendly material. This class is perfect for
beginners and experienced artists alike!

Instructor Name Lauren
Oyer is a graduate from Oklahoma State University with her BA in Studio
Art. Lauren works with a variety of mediums including oils, charcoal,
pastels, acrylics and watercolors while occasionally using 3D elements
throughout her work. She has worked as a live artist for events and has
exhibited her work at the OSU Museum of Art, Gardiner Gallery of Art,
the OSU Orange Wall, the Modella Art Gallery, and Gold Fang Gallery in
Oklahoma City.
